Dr. Alexis Richmond is a native of New Orleans, Louisiana. She is a graduate of Mount Carmel Academy and earned her Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences through the Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge. She then attended LSU’s School of Dentistry in New Orleans, where she obtained her Doctorate of Dental Surgery and upon graduation received the American Equilibration Society’s Outstanding Senior Award in Occlusion, Temporomandibular Joint Disorders and Comprehensive Care.

Dr. Richmond’s priority is giving her patients the highest quality dental care by staying up to date with the latest research studies and newest procedural and technological advances. Her passion is being able to make a positive impact on people’s lives, specifically by helping to restore their oral health and give confidence through their smiles.

Outside of the office, Dr. Richmond enjoys afternoon strolls in the neighborhood and picnicking around Bayou St. John with her fiancé, Michael, and their 6-month-old black Lab, Charlie. She also loves to ride bikes, travel, and spend time with her family and friends.
