Resin Restorations (White Fillings) – A filling is a way to restore a tooth damaged by decay back to its normal function and shape. All fillings at our office are done with tooth colored composite resin. Meaning, we do not offer amalgam (silver) fillings.
Bondings – A bonding is the application of a tooth-colored resin material using adhesives and a high intensity curing light. The procedure gets its name because materials are bonded to the tooth. Bonding is typically used for cosmetic purposes to improve the appearance of a discolored or chipped tooth.
Core Build Ups – The primary purpose of a core build- up is to replace enough missing tooth structure to permit the creation of ideal retention and resistance form in the crown preparation.
Crowns – A dental crown is a tooth-shaped “cap” that is placed over a tooth, to cover the tooth to restore its shape and size, strength, and improve its appearance.
Bridges – Dental bridges literally bridge the gap created by one or more missing teeth. A bridge is made up of two crowns one on each tooth on either side of the gap. These two anchoring teeth are called abutment teeth, and a false tooth/teeth are placed in between.
Inlays and Onlays – Inlays and Onlays are used when old fillings need to be removed or replaced. A dental inlay is similar to a filling and fits inside the cusp tips (top edges) of the tooth. A dental onlay is more extensive and extends over the cusps of the treated tooth.
Implant Crowns – A dental implant is a tooth-root replacement, to which an implant crown is attached.
Invisalign – Invisalign is a set of custom made, clear, plastic trays that are placed in the mouth to help move teeth. It is like having braces that you can take off to eat, brush, and floss.
Veneers – Are ultra-thin shells of ceramic (porcelain) or a composite resin material, which are bonded to the front of teeth. Veneers can be the ideal choice for improving the appearance of the front teeth.
Dentures (Partial and Full) – Are removable appliances that can replace missing teeth and help restore your smile.
In Office Whitening – A procedure in which a potent professional strength whitening gel is applied by a dental hygienist. Procedures vary in strength and time necessary to achieve maximum results.
Take Home Whitening Gel – Available in 7 %, 9% and 14%, take home whitening gel is best used with custom fit trays.
Custom Fit Whitening Trays – In two short appointments, impressions will be taken to make a mold of your teeth and plastic trays are made and cut to fit your mold. The second appointment is for delivery of the trays.
